I want ‘em!
The first issue of the Build Your Metaphysical Business Newsletter is coming! Soon! Very soon! I’m still figuring out what the publication schedule will be and all that -it’ll be a work in progress for a little while. But I do know I’ll feature a Q&A section, where I’ll be answering your questions. This means I need your questions!
You can leave questions in the comments, or email them to me at elizabeth at [domain name of this site].
As I said, the BYMB newsletter will be a work in progress. I’m thinking of making the Q&A’s newsletter-only. No matter what, however, there will be stuff in the newsletter you can’t get any other way, so definitely please sign up if you haven’t already. (Upper right hand corner of BYMB.com has the boxes for your name and email addy - just hit submit. In case you’re wondering, I repeat this every time because many folks are reading this from an RSS reader, not on the site proper!)
Anyhoo, bring ‘em on.
In other news, I need a snappy name for the newsletter. Anyone got any ideas?

I have a question. Any ideas on how to do promotion to event planners/coodinators? You know, in New York City, there are hundreds of upscale parties a month, many of which would benefit with a fabulous tarot reader - like me for instance!
I’ve been hesitating because it seems like such a big job to tackle. Any thoughts?
Hey lady! Great to hear from you.
This could really be a case where a good direct mail campaign pays off, big time. I would also research their trade journals/publications, especially ones that are local. I’d have to know more about them to suggest further ideas. (I did know one once, come to think of it… wonder if she’s still on LJ)
My first thought, though, is definitely direct mail! Compile a list and wow them with a fabulous (and fabulously targeted) mailing… then send another one.
This is definitely a good topic to cover in depth - direct mail is a biggie…
Also, on big jobs - start small. Make a list of, say, 30 event planners and start with them. You don’t have to do it all at once! The trick is to get GOING. “Don’t get it perfect, just get it going!”
Yup. Me again. Another question. I write a daily Tarot blog. Is there any blog ettiquette I should know in regard to multiple postings? I post it in three places: Wordpress, Myspace and now on the Readers Studio Ning. I figure the more the blog is out there, the more readers I’ll get. Good idea or overkill?
Thank you!
Ola Elizabeth!
I’ve found your website very useful… so thank you very much!
How do you recommend branding for different avenues of work? For example, I am a writer, artist, photographer and womens circle leader. When I do marketing, should I be marketing all my services or one at a time? Should I brand them all under one name (i.e. Goddess Leonie) or under different services names?
It would be great if you had a section on resources for spiritual marketing/general marketing.
I just finished reading “The Science of Getting Rich” and highly recommend it
It would also be wonderful to have a list of things to do as a “One Marketing Thing A Day” to work through.
If I can think of anything more I’d let you know.
Thanks so much
Leonie
