Elizabeth, what’s your story? Who are you and how did you come to do this work?
In January 2007, after working part-time as a freelance copywriter for a little under 2 years, I left my “soul sucking job” to pursue more fulfilling work. With over 20 years of holistic and metaphysical practice under my belt, I naturally gravitated to working with holistic small businesses and “soul”-preneurs. It didn’t take long to realize that they needed not just copy, but a holistic (as in, big picture!) marketing and business-building strategy. So I rolled up my sleeves and learned everything I could about marketing and entrepreneurship. (I’ve now spent tens of thousands of dollars on books, courses, seminars and mastermind groups, easily spending 5 figures on training every year.)
Along the way, inspired by holistic and metaphysically minded friends who desperately wanted to leave their soul-sucking jobs behind as I did, I began to develop the set of techniques that would become The Abundant Practice System, my step-by-step client attraction guide for holistic and metaphysical practitioners. I tweaked and tuned, and my “beta testers” got great results, but - and I have to be honest, here! - something held me back.
Well, Spirit (I call her Lady Universe) was having none of that! After giving me a “divine kick in the pants,” I gave my first talk on marketing and client attraction to a packed room of Tarot professionals at an industry event. The response was nothing short of phenomenal. I knew then I’d uncovered an important part of my calling.
Who are your clients?
My clients are solo practitioners who are great at what they do and are committed to their work but are struggling to build the thriving, abundant practice they really want.
I work with practitioners of all holistic and metaphysical modalities, including Tarot consultants, astrologers, Reiki masters, intuitives, spirit-based life coaches, and holistic health solo professionals such as acupuncturists and massage therapists. The things my clients all have in common are:
- They are service-based solo business owners (just them, or just them with a team member or two)
- They refuse to trade their true calling for a “soul-sucking job” and are serious about getting clients and helping more people
- They understand that making big changes requires accountability and recognize the benefits of getting help from an expert
- They take action and are willing to do what it takes to build their practices!
How are you different from all the other business coaches and marketing professionals out there?
I’m one of only a handful of marketing pros who works exclusively with holistic (I include “heart-based”, “soul-based”, and “spirit-based” when I use this term) practitioners. My focus is solely on the marketing and “business building” piece of your practice - i.e., getting clients, creating more income, etc. (While I certainly can make recommendations based on my own experience, I do NOT specialize in the how-to’s of insurance, taxes, or other business operations issues.)

In other words, I’m all about doing what works in a way that is true to your values… with an emphasis on doing.
My commitment to holistic and metaphysical “heart and soul” work also sets me apart. I’ve been on the path for over 20 years, going on the rest of my life! I’ve chosen to focus exclusively on holistic and metaphysical businesses because the work is so important to me. Part of my higher calling is to promote the spread of healing, holistic and metaphysical thought in this world. Teaching practitioners how to attract more clients to serve is one way I honor that calling.
What type of personality do you work with and what is expected of me?
My clients are positive, pro-active and are committed to their success and helping more people. They understand that without the ability to get clients, they can’t make the difference they want to make in the world. As such, my clients know that our work together is an investment in themselves and the people they serve, and they’re committed to getting the best return on that investment by showing up for every call, doing all the assignments and fieldwork, and giving it their all.
My clients also understand that the key to success is focusing on solutions, not excuses. They understand that for every frustration or stumbling block they encounter, a solution already exists. They gently yet firmly put aside the natural inclination to find the reasons why something WON’T work, and instead focus on what they WANT to have happen instead.
Who do you NOT work with?
I don’t work with whiners, complainers or excuse-makers, or people who constantly challenge every aspect of the program. No exceptions. There are just too many positive, forward-thinking practitioners who are passionate about what they do and who they help. (Plus, life is too short!)

What exactly is the Abundant Practice System?
The Abundant Practice System is a system I created specifically for holistic and metaphysical solo practitioners to attract clients consistently (instead of having to chase them) and create their dream practice. It’s a collection of proven marketing strategies that I teach in a step-by-step sequence. Here are the steps of The Abundant Practice System:
1. Embrace marketing. First, you’ll learn exactly why marketing is so crucial to your business (I know it sounds weird, but many holistic practitioners and coaches don’t even think about this). You’ll learn why you don’t have to be pushy or fake. Then, we’ll clear the decks and find the time in your schedule for creating the marketing systems that will get you clients. You’ll learn how to prioritize your tasks and find time in your schedule for marketing – even if you’re convinced that you don’t have any now.
2. Discover your unique positioning. This is our first step to turning you into a client magnet! We’ll take a good look at your unique strengths, what you do, and the results you provide. We’ll also set you up for success by choosing your most powerful client attraction tool: your niche. We’ll look at your competition and answer the question why your clients should choose you over everyone else out there.
3. Choose your ideal clients. We’ll pinpoint exactly who would be an ideal client for you and what makes you the ideal practitioner to work with them. We’ll make sure they’re a good fit for you before you begin marketing, so you won’t waste your time or money. We’ll also brainstorm ways to reach lots of them easily and at low cost.
4. Create your Client Magnet message and marketing materials. Together, we’ll craft a marketing message for you and your business that is authentic, comes from your true place of power. We’ll use your message to create business cards, brochures and websites that inspire clients to pick up the phone and call you. We’ll also craft “what do you do?” statements and an elevator speech that has your ideal clients hanging on your every word and leaves them wanting to know more.
5. Get out there with confidence and grace. I’ll teach you all the ways I know to “get yourself out there” with confidence, including both online and offline methods. You’ll learn exactly which methods will work for you and which you can skip, so you’re not wasting a lot of time and money on ineffective advertising. We’ll also focus on networking strategies to help you feel comfortable and at ease when you’re marketing face-to-face. If you live in a small town, we’ll focus on those methods that will build an abundant “virtual practice” you can work from anywhere.
6. Create relationships and “win-win” partnerships. Your relationship with clients is the foundation of everything in your business. Here we’ll implement your automatic follow-up system that converts more of your prospective clients into actual clients, and creates a long-term relationship with both over time. You’ll also learn how to create “win-win” strategic alliances with other business owners to bring you opportunities to reach more clients and create more income in your business.
7. Create incredible value and charge what you’re worth. We’ll dig deep into your services, what you know and what you offer and design programs and packages that position you as THE go-to expert in your field and get prospective clients very excited to work with you. We’ll look at crafting irresistible offers that provide so much value to your clients that they practically sell themselves, creating much more money for you. I’ll also teach you how to invite your clients to take the next step in a way that’s authentic, not at all pushy, and leaves them feeling really great about working with you.
8. Create your personalized Abundant Practice Systems so you’ll never have to worry about where your clients are coming from ever again. We’ll create your personalized abundant practice plan and create systems for each facet of your marketing, so your client attraction happens on autopilot. Best of all, the systems you’ll learn are designed to consume as little of your time and effort as possible.
Does this really work?

Also, my writing talent and authentic voice, coupled with years of training and experience in direct response marketing, makes me especially suited to help with one of the biggest challenges facing practitioners: talking and writing about what they do in a way that’s authentic AND effective.
Many of my clients come to me because they want their authentic marketing message (put forth in their brochures, websites and in person) to do more of the “heavy lifting” of attracting their ideal clients, pre-qualifying clients and inspiring them to take action and get started.
How quickly can I expect results?
Obviously, this entirely depends on YOU and the efforts you put in. That said, when you commit fully to building your practice, amazing things begin to happen! Most of my clients get results (new clients, income, referrals) within a month or two – sometimes as quickly as a few weeks.
How can I guarantee that I will attract clients and create a truly abundant practice?
First, understand that it’s not a quick fix and there is no magic at work here (though it might feel like magic when you see the first results). Commit to client attraction for AT LEAST six months, preferably a year. It takes at least six months to lay the groundwork and set up the systems you need to bring clients in consistently. Do all of your assignments.
Will I recover the investment I make in your programs and classes?
If you do commit and do the work required, absolutely! When you implement the steps of The Abundant Practice System (especially the powerful pricing and packaging strategies I’ll share with you!), you’ll make back your investment many times over.
What if money is really tight for me right now?
My programs are NOT for those who have absolutely no money coming in and are feeling financially desperate. If that’s you, it’s absolutely OK and know that you are not alone! It’s been my experience that people find the money to pay for the things they value. How long are the programs?
It takes time to implement the systems you’ll be using to fill your practice (not once, but over and over again), and it takes time to see results from those systems. Will you see results in the short term? If you do the work, absolutely! But without consistency and accountability over time, there’s a very good chance that you’ll wind up right back where you started. Because I want nothing less than lasting results for you, both of my one-on-one coaching programs have a 6 month commitment.
